After twenty-eight years of serving the Detroit metro community, we have made the decision to close Priya on
March 03, 2024.

The good news is that Bheema's , an exciting new restaurant featuring an updated and contemporary take on Indian Cuisine, will be taking over our space.

When the Kaza and Mandava families opened Priya on
July 07,1996, we were excited about our pioneering role as the first restaurant to introduce South Indian Cuisine and various new dishes from India to Michigan diners.
Over the years we were honored to have been able to feed so many of you and to have been part of your birthday, anniversary, graduation , wedding and other festivities.
Whether you turned to Priya for weekday, weekend buffets or our special events buffets, we cherish the memories of all of you in our community.
We have given so much of our lives to creating a space for you to enjoy fine Indian food, and we thank you deeply for your loyalty and support over the years.
It's been a long ride, and we'll miss you!

Priya Indian Cuisine offers a range of culinary delights, which are as varied as the land of India itself. It is a fusion of North, South, East & West of India. The cuisine from India is as ancient as its civilization and has evolved as it has absorbed influences from the Moguls, the Persians, the Zoroastrians, the Portuguese and the native local foods.
